Interested in dyadic/group supervision but don't have others to join with? Reach out to Samantha directly and she can pair you with compatible practitioners for dyadic or group supervision.
I provide clinical supervision and clinical consultation services to mental health practitioners, including psychotherapists (RP and RP Qualifying), social workers, and counsellors in private practice and agency settings. I provide individual, dyadic, and group supervision. Clinical consultation and supervision can address a variety of issues, and may involve:
-
Specific concerns pertaining to one’s current caseload
-
Safe and effective use of self
-
Issues pertaining to transference and countertransference
-
Development of clinical skills (CBT, DBT, Trauma-Informed, Solutions-Focused, MI, and Narrative Therapy)
-
Strategies to identify, protect against, and cope with burnout at all stages in one’s helping career
-
Development in relation to diversity, equity and inclusion to better help the populations you serve
My approach to clinical consultation and supervision is feminist, person-centred, and systemic. I am looking to work with students and clinicians who are keen to develop a practice that consistently keeps the social determinants of health in mind. I am enthusiastic about helping you develop skills in CBT, DBT, MI, short-term, Solutions-Focused, and Trauma-Informed therapy.
I have a particular focus on working with trans and gender-diverse individuals across the lifespan, and LGBTQIA2+ individuals and their families (including their chosen families).
The rate for clinical supervision is $160/hour. Dyadic consultation can be facilitated, where two clinicians consult with me at a time (rate split between both clinicians). Group supervision/consultation can also be negotiated, with a maximum of 4 clinicians at $200/hour. Please reach out for information on workshop requests.
